Vaterite-calcite transition experiment with aqueous sulfate solution carried out at 25°C, 4 °C, -26°C for 14 days. Some or all vaterite translate to calcite at 25°C, 4 °C, but vaterite did not change at -26°C(an environment the solution froze) at all. Therefore, vaterite found at a glacier would be saved because it was in a frozen environment. Therefore, vaterite found at a glacier would be saved more than 100 years because there was in the frozen environment.
