Quartz is one of the common minerals in felsic plutonic rocks. Crystallization process of quartz contributes to clarifying the formation process of the felsic pluton. In this study, we investigate cathodoluminescence(CL) patterns and titanium(Ti) and aluminum(Al) concentrations in quartz, in order to obtain the crystallization processes of quartzs from the Okueyama granite, Kyushu, Japan. The high Ti and Al concentrations are correlated with high brightness zone in the CL oscillatory zoning.
