In the quantitative chemical analysis by the absorption correction using ATEM, it is not well established how we should find the proper thickness of the analyzed spot, which gives us the optimum chemical composition. We found the useful way to find the proper thickness of the analyzed spot by the absorption correction. In the presentation, the way to find the proper thickness of the analyzed spot and whether it is same with the real thickness or not are given.
