Listvenite and altered serpentinite was found from shear bands of pelitic shist from Omotegawa River, Toon City, Ehime Prefecture, Japan. The green listvenite consists of quartz, dolomite, and Cr-bearing kaolinite with minor millerite, sphalerite, pyrite, chalcopyrite, covellite, galena, violarite, and siegenite. The altered serpentinite consists of antigorite, quartz, dolomite, and calcite, and it contains pyrrhotite, pyrite, pentrandite, and nickeline, and relicts of chromite.
