[R3-02] Phase diagram in MgSiO₃

We investigated the phase transitions in MgSiO₃ at high pressures and high temperatures using the multi-anvil press and the synchrotron X-ray diffraction technique. The stability of each phase was determined by observing the powdered X-ray diffraction data and analyzing the recovered samples. The reaction boundaries between high-pressure clinoenstatite and wadsleyite + stishovite and between ringwoodite + stishovite and akimotoite were redetermined.
