The Clapeyron slope is essential for mantle dynamics. We present our recent development to determine a phase boundary strictly based on the phase equilibrium definition. An essential technique is to observe the change in X-ray diffraction intensity between low-pressure and high-pressure phases at a constant temperature and press load with the coexistence of both phases, removing problems happening during heating and providing an accurate and precise phase boundary.
