The BL11 PLANET at J-PARC MLF is equipped with a large 6-axis press, which enables neutron diffraction experiments under high-pressure and high-temperature. We have developed a neutron diffraction technique in order to conduct experiments under even higher pressures while suppressing blowout. As a result, neutron diffraction experiment at high-pressures corresponding to the mantle transition zone became possible. On the other hand, the signal intensity is weak and requires a long measurement time, so it is necessary to develop a shorter measurement time in the future.
