Hydrocarbon fluid inclusions trapped in authigenic quartz from the Jurassic Torinosu limestone at Sakawa town, Kochi Pref., Japan were characterized by measurements of UV fluorescence, homogenization temperature, and Raman spectra to investigate behaviors of hydrocarbon fluids in organic-rich calcareous sediments from southwestern Japan.
