In this study, the amygdale minerals of alkali basalt from Kabeshima Island Saga Prefecture were described. The minerals were observed, and the chemical compositions were determined using a field emission electron probe micro analyzer. The amygdale minerals mainly consist of fine white-pale blue aggregate minerals, and rarely calcite, Fe-Ti oxide, Mn oxide, and dark blue mineral. The white-pale blue minerals have a spongy texture and are composed mainly of Mg, Al, and Si, and might be a type of clay mineral or zeolite. The dark blue mineral is porous and Co-bearing Mn-oxide.
