Dr. Alexander Marx has been involved in thymic research since 1988. He has（co-）authored more than 150 publications related to thymic tumours, has co-authored one book on thymic tumours, was a co-author of numerous chapters of the World Health Organization（WHO）Classification of Thymic Tumours in the editions of 2004, 2015, 2021, and 2026/7, was editor of the 2015 edition of the WHO Classification of Thymic Tumours and member of the editorial board of the 2021 edition of the WHO Classification of Thoracic Tumours.
