[LWS3-2]Innovations and Emerging Techniques in Lung Transplantation
Samina Park (Department of Thoracic and Cardiovascular Surgery, Seoul National University Hospital, South Korea)
Dr. Samina Park is the Surgical Director of the Lung Transplantation Program at Seoul National University Hospital（SNUH）. She earned her medical degree from Ewha Woman’s University, College of Medicine, and completed specialized training in thoracic surgery and lung transplantation at SNUH. With extensive expertise in complex lung transplantation, donor lung optimization, extracorporeal membrane oxygenation（ECMO）as a bridge to transplant, and minimally invasive thoracic surgery, Dr. Park leads one of the highest-volume lung transplant programs in Korea. Under her leadership, the program has advanced surgical techniques and post-transplant management. Dr. Park's research focuses on improving donor lung utilization, optimizing postoperative outcomes, and enhancing long-term transplant survival.
