This study fabricated cement-based materials with aligned pore structures via freeze casting. Temperature variations during the process were monitored, and the resulting pore structure, porosity, and mechanical properties were compared with those of conventionally prepared cement paste. The results showed that freezing speed strongly influences the freezing point, and significant anisotropy in porosity and mechanical properties was observed. Directional pore structures enhanced early-age mechanical performance along the lamellar alignment.
