ネオジウム硝酸塩の導入比率を変化させて溶液燃焼合成を行い、Nd₂Fe₁₄Bを単相で得ることに成功した。Nd：Fe＝2.75：14、3.0：14、3.75：14ではFeは消滅し、Nd：Fe=2.75：14の時が最もNd₂Fe₁₄Bの収率が高かった。
