[Keynote Lecture] Brief History of Investigation of Iron and Steel Structure between 1850 and 1925

座長時間 9:05～10:25 松岡 10:35～11:55 船川 明治期は日本が国として大きく変わった時期であるが、鉄鋼に関して大きく変化・拡大した時期でもあった。鉄鋼は日本が欧米と並ぶ先進国家であるために重要な産業であり、幾つもの製鉄所建造、技術革新がなされた。第一次大戦の影響もあり、それまでは欧米産が使われていた製品が次第に日本産に移り変わったのである。 このシンポジウムでは、明治期の鉄鋼業の発展の元となった製錬技術の変遷や金属組織学・相変態などの学術的発展に加え、その後時代を経て消えてしまった製鉄所や、技術革新を果たした技術者、またそのためになされた試行錯誤にフォーカスして、ものつくりとは何なのか、また”明治の鉄鋼”が残したものは何かを議論する。 ※表示の講演時間には質疑応答時間も含みます。 （質疑応答時間５分、基調講演と外国人特別講演は5～10分）
