常圧下では取り扱いが困難な反応性の試薬や揮発性物質を結晶成長溶媒として活用できる、超高圧合成法による窒化ホウ素とダイヤモンド単結晶の高純度化と欠陥制御による新たな機能開拓について紹介する。
