炭素短繊維に銅を無電解めっきし，銅粉末と混合，放電焼結により複合材料を作製した．また，その後、熱間圧延を施し，その微細組織の変化，炭素短繊維の配向性を定量的に評価し，熱伝導性との関係を考察した．
