This study aims to evaluate the room-temperature superelasticity of Fe-Mn-Al-Ni shape memory alloy single crystals along the <001> and <023> orientations via tensile testing, and to elucidate the mechanism underlying the orientation dependence of superelasticity through multiscale observation of the stress-induced martensite.
