PREP powder and SVM-assisted EB-PBF suppressed defects in Ti-6Al-4V. The non-HIPed as-built alloy reached run-out at 800 MPa for 107 cycles, owing to an Al-depleted massive-α-like nonequilibrium α/β microstructure that suppressed interfacial voiding.
