In-situ time-resolved X-ray CT and XRD observations were performed to track and evaluate dendritic growth in HCP Mg–Zn alloys with Zn concentrations of 18 wt% and 25 wt%, focusing on the evolution of preferred growth orientation and interfacial morphology during solidification.
