Keywords:

Creep damage,9Cr steel,Magnetism,Coercivity,Laves phase

Evaluating high‑temperature creep damage is essential for the safe operation of thermal power plants. This study examined how the magnetic hysteresis curve of 9Cr ferritic steel changes during creep damage at various temperatures. Coercivity increased, but its magnitude depended on whether the Laves phase formed.
