The hydrogen freezing temperature of LaNi5H6 was estimated to be 163.1 K by combining reaction entropy derived from heat-capacity data with migration-derived communal entropy. The approach also linked thermal observations from heat-capacity measurements with dynamic observations from NMR through entropy.
