[P106] Effect of Boronizing Treatment Time Using an Al-Added Molten Salt Bath on the Wear Resistance of S45C

Carbon steel is relatively inexpensive, and its hardness can be increased by quenching, but it does not exceed 1000 HV. The molten salt immersion method is simple and does not require special equipment. In this study, S45C steel was boronized using the molten salt immersion method, and the effect of treatment time on wear resistance was investigated.
