[P124]Effects of HPT Processing and Aging Treatment on Microstructure and Electrical Properties of Al-Ag Alloy

Al-16wt%Ag alloy was subjected to HPT processing and aging to evaluate its properties. Upon aging, the HPT sample showed a decrease in hardness from 130 to 85 HV, whereas its electrical conductivity significantly improved from 23 to 46% IACS. Tensile properties and microstructural evolution will also be discussed.
