An in-situ titanium oxide coating was fabricated on 316L stainless steel by laser powder bed fusion using TiO2-decorated powders. Post-print oxidation tailored the coating phase and microstructure, enhancing photothermal performance under near-infrared irradiation for potential biomedical antibacterial applications.
