A thermal desorption spectroscopy (TDS) system capable of trapping sublimated zinc was developed and used to evaluate the hydrogen desorption behavior of electrogalvanized steel sheets. Hydrogen desorption originating from the plating layer or the vicinity of the Zn/Fe interface was quantitatively observed.
