The material properties of SUS316L made by additive manufacturing process were investigated. The SUS316L exhibited high yield strength, attributed to high internal strain. It was also clarified that anisotropic microstructure was formed, resulting in enhanced tensile properties in the direction perpendicular to the layer direction.
