A super-ductile steel with 140% uniform elongation and 880 MPa tensile strength was achieved through sequential activation of dislocation slip, deformation twinning, and deformation-induced martensitic transformation. The deformation behavior was investigated by in-situ synchrotron XRD, ECCI, EBSD, and TEM.
