MAX相固溶体(Nb,Ti)₂AlCを一軸配向させ、得られた配向体に対して高温圧縮試験を実施した。90°材ではTi₂AlCと比較して降伏応力が100 MPa以上増加した。XRDの結果から求めたc/a比の変化から、格子ひずみの導入が確認され、これによる強度上昇が示唆された。
