本研究は，酸素欠損型チタン酸化物に着目し，4価の不純物元素（Zr,Hf）の添加が熱電性能の温度依存性に与える影響を解明することを目的とした．実験では，各元素を固溶させた焼結体試料を作製し，室温から773Kまでの各種熱電特性を評価することで，不純物元素の添加が，導電性や結晶構造，熱電性能に及ぼす影響を明らかにする．
