慢性的な高血糖を特徴とする糖尿病は、血管障害や腎機能低下に加え、骨組織にも影響を及ぼす全身性代謝疾患である。本研究では、I型糖尿病モデルマウスにおける骨基質配向性の変化を明らかにすることで、糖尿病性骨脆弱化のメカニズムの解明を目指す。
