Co–Cr–Al–Si alloys were recently developed for use as novel metallic biomaterials. Accurate phase digram information are important for the design of this alloy, and the Co–Cr–Si ternary system is one of the key fundamental systems. In this study, the phase equilibria of the Co–Cr–Si ternary system were investigated.
