To improve the efficiency of the oxygen evolution reaction (OER) in water electrolysis, we synthesized chiral Ca7Co3Ga5O18 and evaluated its catalytic activity for the OER. We found that it exhibits higher activity and stability compared to Co3O4, possibly due to the differences in the valence of Co and the chiral crystal structure.
