Compression tests on powder metallurgy Ni-based alloys, combined with EBSD, were used to predict recrystallized grain size via an empirical equation and Gaussian process regression. Both gave ±3 μm accuracy, but GPR was superior for larger recrystallization grains, indicating potential to refine the model.
