The effects of aging on stress-induced martensitic transformation in Cu-Al-Mn shape memory alloy single crystals were investigated by in-situ SEM observation and digital image correlation. The aged specimen showed multi-step transformation, while the unaged specimen exhibited large hysteresis due to early 2M formation.
