Atmospheric corrosion of steel with chloride-containing rust is accelerated by formation and disappearance of thin electrolyte films. In this study, Fe specimens with NaCl-containing rust were subjected to 20 dry-wet cycles at RH 84%, and the effect of RH on the weight gain rate was examined.
