Iron ions undergo complex reactions during the process by which iron(II) and iron(III) dissolved in aqueous solution form iron oxides. We examined iron oxides in oral tablets and other samples to gain insights into the structural and morphological changes of various iron oxides, and we showed the characteristics of these iron oxides.
