In this study, we investigated the reduction behaviour of Fe2O3 fine particles using a low-temperature and high-density hydrogen plasma excited by a VHF power supply. As a result, it was found that Fe2O3 particles can be reduced to α-Fe particles at a relatively high rate by using VHF hydrogen plasma.
