Keywords:

Work hardening,Deformation incompatibility,Crystal grain,Anisotropy,Crystal plasticity

Dislocations play a key role in metal work hardening. In polycrystals, internal stresses caused by deformation incompatibility between grains may also contribute. This study investigates their contribution to work hardening using crystal plasticity analysis.
