The welding conditions of Al/Cu magnetic pulse welded sheets were investigated by experiments and numerical analysis. A weldability window was constructed from the collision angle beta and collision point velocity v_c. The weldable region was determined as beta > 3deg and v_c > 2.5 km/s.
