In this study, we investigated a dyeing method for anodic aluminum oxide films using an oxidation reaction between chlorogenic acid and sodium periodate. When chlorogenic acid was first supplied to the film and the oxidizing agent was subsequently added, the K/S value increased and green-based coloration was obtained.
