Toward high-entropy REBCO for fusion magnets, we comprehensively calculated oxygen-defect formation from first principles (KKR-CPA) in alloys with two rare earths on the rare-earth site. Lu/Eu-containing compositions form defects easily; Pr/Nd/Sm-containing ones resist it, guiding materials design.
