Hastelloy X粉末にレーザを線照射し,X線透過法と輪郭解析によりメルトトラック下面の凹凸形成過程を評価した.メルトトラック下面近傍で生じる空隙の発生と,空隙内の複数メルトプールの集合・拡大および下面からの結合の繰り返しが,下面凹凸の形成過程であることを明らかにした.
