Keywords:
Magnesium alloy,Silver (Ag) addition,Corrosion resistance,Microstructure,Texture,Potentiodynamic polarization
The effect of Ag addition on the corrosion behavior of magnesium alloys was studied. Mg-9 wt% Ag had a lower corrosion current density than pure Mg, so corrosion was suppressed, and microstructural changes due to processing affected corrosion resistance.
