Compositional gradient layered microstructure is formed in the Mg2(Si,Sn) alloys under non-equilibrium solidification. This work investigates the effects of microstructural change during HT and SPS on thermoelectric properties and evaluates the boundaries of two-phase field in the Mg2Si-Mg2Sn pseudo-binary phase diagram.
