BCC+B2合金は高温材料として注目されている。Ti₂AlMoにBCC元素を添加するとB2中に立方体BCC相が生成したが、延性が乏しかったため、BCC/B2の役割を反転させる目的でTi₂AlMoTaに元素を追加した5元系合金を設計し, 組織と強度を調査した。
