高齢化の進展等に伴い、医療が急性疾患中心から慢性疾患や多疾患併存へと変化し、医療・介護にとどまらない多様なニーズが混在・複雑化している。多様で複雑なニーズに対応するためには、多分野にわたる専門職の有機的な連携と協働が欠かせない。また、多職種間での情報共有と相互確認は医療安全の確保に寄与し、異なる視点の統合は包括的医療・ケアの質的向上をもたらす。医学教育モデル・コア・カリキュラムには、多職種連携能力が基本的な資質・能力として掲げられ、多職種連携教育が進められているものの、まだ発展途上にある。在宅医療の需要が増加するなど地域医療・ケアの状況が大きく変化する中、時代に即して進化させていく必要がある。本シンポジウムでは、多職種連携に求められるスキルとその教育の現状を踏まえ、大会テーマ「つながる、つなげる。つなげる、つながる。」を具現化する人材育成の新たな展望について学生と共に議論する機会としたい。
