本邦の急速な高齢化により、多疾患併存や急変リスクを抱える患者が増加し、診療看護師（NP）への期待が高まっています。議論は特定行為やタスクシフトに偏りがちですが、重要なのは病歴聴取・バイタルサインの解釈・臨床推論といった基盤的能力を実践し、質の高い成果につなげることです。患者の変化を早期に捉え対応する力は、急変予防や安全性確保、慢性疾患管理の精度向上、地域包括ケアの推進に寄与します。これらの実践は、入院期間短縮や再入院率低減などの医療システム上の成果にとどまらず、健康寿命延伸や本人らしい生活の実現といった患者中心のアウトカムにも結びつきます。<br>　本シンポジウムでは、NPの臨床推論力を核にケア・疾患管理・多職種連携を統合し、超高齢社会におけるNPの新たな役割と社会的成果を展望します。議論した内容を参考に各施設で診療看護師の導入を検討し、将来的な導入に繋がることを願っています。
