[H-TT08]Geoscientific applications of high-definition topography and geophysical measurements

Tue. May 26, 2015 6:15 PM - 7:30 PM JST
Tue. May 26, 2015 9:15 AM - 10:30 AM UTC
Convention Hall 2F
Convener:*Yuichi S. Hayakawa(Center for Spatial Information Science, The University of Tokyo), Hiroshi, P. Sato(College of Humanities and Sciences, Nihon University), Shigekazu Kusumoto(Graduate School of Science and Engineering for Research, University of Toyama), Shoichiro Uchiyama(National Research Institute for Earth Science and Disaster Prevention)
Along with recent technical and instrumental innovations of various sensors and platforms, high-definition or high-resolution measurements of topography and geophysical properties has been performed for understanding earth surface processes and dynamics. In this session, we will discuss on theory, acquisition, processing, modeling, analysis and applications of high-definition topographic and geophysical data. Various case studies are welcome, particularly focusing on, but not limited to, laser scanning, SfM-MVS photogrammetry, GNSS positioning, SAR interferometry, multi-beam sonar, geomagnetics, electromagnetics from terrestrial (fixed or mobile) and aerial (UAV or manned airborne) platforms.
