Wed. May 27, 2015 6:15 PM - 7:30 PM JST
Wed. May 27, 2015 9:15 AM - 10:30 AM UTC
Convention Hall 2F
Convener:*Shin'ya Nakano(The Institute of Statistical Mathematics), Yoshizumi Miyoshi(Solar-Terrestrial Environement Laboratory, Nagoya University), Hiroshi Hasegawa(Institute of Space and Astronautical Science, Japan Aerospace Exploration Agency), Yoshimasa Tanaka(National Institute of Polar Research), Tomoaki Hori(Nagoya University Solar Terrestrial Environment Laboratory Geospace Research Center)
This session provides an opportunity to present recent results from satellite and ground-based observations and theoretical and simulation studies on various phenomena in the magneotphere, ionosphere, and their coupling system such as the aurora phenomena and magnetic storms/substorms. Discussions on planetary and satellite ionosphere and magnetospheres, future missions and instrument developments are also welcome.
