JpGU looks ahead beyond its silver anniversary: this symposium invites scientists representing major geoscience societies (AGU, AOGS, EGU) partnering with JpGU and solicits scientists representing rising and exciting geoscience fields to present and discuss how geoscience can contribute to the well being of the humankind and the environment through deep and fundamental understanding of the state and future of the planet Earth. What are the challenges from the future? A joint action plan/communique' is a desired outcome of this symposium.
